Category Manager for Indirect Materials Procurement

The LEGO Group is seeking an experienced Category Buyer to lead all procurement of indirect materials and services in our growing facility. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the local manufacturing plant by collaborating with local stakeholders to meet all indirect purchasing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing, ensuring the best possible value for the company.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, new products, and potential suppliers that align with the company's needs and strategic goals.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with company goals and improving efficiency and value.
- Ensure all purchased products meet our quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements, conducting regular audits and quality checks on suppliers.
About You
We are looking for a professional with 4+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in indirect and service procurement. Your strong negotiation and contract management skills will enable you to build long-lasting relationships with suppliers. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in procurement software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) are also essential for this role.
