The St. Louis Jewish Community Center is seeking a highly skilled and organized Rentals Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our rental clients, while also ensuring the smooth operation of our room rentals and usage program.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the room rentals and usage program, ensuring accurate information and timely communication with clients.
- Utilize Salesforce room reservation software to maintain accurate records, create contracts, and analyze schedules for conflicts.
- Ensure proper set up and breakdown of rooms for all outside rentals, including scheduling temporary staff as needed.
- Arrange and ensure building security is available when necessary for outside rentals.
- Keep accurate records of rental activities, including the maintenance of a master rental log and tracking of events from initial contact to completion.
- Identify new opportunities and make sales calls to drive prospective facility rentals.
- Follow up on all rentals to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide timely reports to department director and partner with Finance to ensure billing and payments are correct and timely.
- High School diploma/GED required; BA/BS degree in related field desired.
- Minimum of 3 years of successful event planning and facility sales experience with a proven track record of performance.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Detail and deadline-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Highly developed interpersonal and team-building skills, including the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Customer service-oriented and attentive to details, demonstrated sound judgment and takes initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sales and/or marketing experience a plus.
- Flexible work schedule required.
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening.
- Work is performed while standing, sitting, and/or walking.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing with the ability to read and understand written material and instructions and write detailed repair reports.
- Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.
