The pay package for this MRI technologist position includes a competitive salary based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The estimated salary range is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
Job Description:
As an MRI technologist, you will play a crucial role in taking medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes using magnetic resonance imaging technology. Working in a hospital or outpatient setting, you will prepare patients for MRIs, operate MRI equipment, process MRIs for radiologists and physicians, and handle patient records. Your expertise may also extend to other radiologic equipment such as CTs and X-rays.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need at least 1-2 years of POST CLINICAL work experience as an MRI technologist, holding current certifications such as ARRT and BLS. A valid state license (if applicable) is also required.
