About the Opportunity

The Caregiver supports residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. This role promotes resident independence, supports resident choice, and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.

Critical Success Factors
  • Displays a positive customer service attitude by being approachable, friendly, and willing to assist others.
  • Takes initiative to complete work without constant supervision.
  • Maintains consistent work attendance as scheduled and addresses work-related problems with the proper individuals.
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills, including careful listening, sensitivity to others' thoughts and feelings, thoughtful responses, and timely and accurate reporting.
  • Maintains confidentiality of both resident and staff information.
  • Presents a neat and clean appearance.
  • Participates in designated facility in-services and helps new staff learn job tasks and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior direct care experience is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Current CPR certification is preferred.
  • Meets age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations.
