Job Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a PRN (as needed) basis at Protouch Staffing in Lexington, NC.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will work on an as-needed basis to provide high-quality care to our residents in a long-term care facility setting. As a PRN CNA, you will be part of a team that ensures our residents' physical, emotional, and social needs are met with the highest standards of care.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility.
  • Provide personal care and comfort for residents according to their individualized care plans.
  • Assist with monitoring residents' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
  • Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in resident condition.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
  • Support residents' social needs and help foster a positive, engaging environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Current, active certification as a Nurse Assistant (CNA) in the state of North Carolina.
  • Previous 2yrs experience in long-term care or hospital setting.
  • BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Proof of Immunizations (MMR, Varicella, TDAP, HepB).
  • Current TB Skin Test or Chest X-ray.
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccination.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
