HVAC Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Friendly Franchisees Corporation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of central AC and heating systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with HVAC systems.
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
- Fabricate or modify components to ensure proper fit and function.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks efficiently.
- Perform work on residential apartment buildings, including installations and maintenance of heating and cooling systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and audits to ensure systems are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Utilize handyman skills for general maintenance tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
- HVAC certification is a must.
- Provide excellent customer service to building occupants and property managers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with HVAC systems, with a minimum of 5 years in the field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in supervising or leading a team is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- HVAC certification is required.
- Experience with heating and cooling installations and overall work with AC/heating systems in residential apartment buildings.
