About This Opportunity

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Wait Staff/Server.

This role involves assisting in the service of meals according to established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include reviewing meal tickets, placing prepared food and beverages on trays, transporting and serving trays at meal or snack times.

Other duties may be assigned by the Food Services Director/Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer experience through positive interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
  • Follow instructions, be courteous, and cooperative with supervisor, co-workers, and client staff.
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions, maintain a safe work environment, and report equipment/cleaning product needs and malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Punctually arrive, complete assigned cleaning area according to schedule, and respond to the paging system in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Achieve leadership skills to accomplish responsibilities without supervision and do so without injury to oneself or other individuals.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; specialized training in food service is desirable.
  • Complete an approved sanitation and safety course and obtain ServSafe and/or Food Handler certification based on State/County law.
  • Meet COVID-19 vaccination policies, as required by State, Local, and/or Customers.

$22,500 - $30,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
