Job Summary:

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography scans on patients, following established protocols and guidelines. You will work closely with our radiology team to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform computed tomography scans on patients, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Work closely with our radiology team to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
  • Screen patients for any contrast allergies and properly identify patients prior to performing exams.
  • Complete all exams in a timely manner, keeping workflow moving and minimizing empty table time.
  • Operate all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, monitors, and medical equipment.

Requirements:

  • Completion of radiologic technology training and A.R.R.T. registration.
  • Computed Tomography A.R.R.T. (CT) certification, if required by facility.
  • General radiographer state license, if required by state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of hospital-based clinical radiology experience.
