We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join our team at NEXHR. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of our controls and measurement systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports Project Execution: Collaborate with project teams to achieve positive outcomes in safety, reliability, efficiency, cost, and customer service.
  • Ensures Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety, health, environmental, and quality standards, and foster a culture of safety during project execution.
  • Provides Technical Support: Provide technical, troubleshooting, and maintenance support to all ASU, CO2, H2, and HE plants for all controls and measurement systems.
  • Reliability and Efficiency: Ensure the reliable and efficient operation of all controls and measurement systems by performing regular health checks, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Represent the needs of the project execution team, interact with area operations and reliability teams, and provide engineering and programming support for capital and re-life projects.
  • Project Management: Identify, define, estimate, budget, develop, plan, and execute controls and measurement system capital and re-life projects.
  • Contractor Management: Supervise and assess the technical competency of controls and measurement system contractors and service providers.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver technical controls and measurement system training for the area.
  • Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate continuous improvement by sharing best practices employed and adopting best practices identified by peers.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
  • Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience with at least 5 years in an operational or engineering environment.
  • Skills: Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of controls and measurement systems, including remote operations, plant auto start, supervisory control, and LMPC control.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Proven understanding of regulatory and industry standards and codes.
