Quality Assurance Role at Triple Cities Metal Finishing

We are seeking an experienced Lead Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Triple Cities Metal Finishing. This role is ideal for a professional with strong quality assurance skills and experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our high standards of quality and safety by ensuring that products meet specific requirements. This involves inspecting first and final parts and materials, accepting or rejecting them based on specifications, and identifying, documenting, and managing non-conformances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rework Paperwork: Prepare detailed records of rework activities, including issue identification, cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Non-Conformances: Identify, document, and manage non-conformances, working with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Contract Review: Review contracts and specifications to ensure they meet quality requirements and company standards.
  • Inspection & Approval: Inspect first and final parts and materials, accepting or rejecting them based on specifications.
  • Quality Audits: Participate in internal and external quality audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Organization and Documentation: Maintain organized records of all quality-related activities.
  • Communication: Discuss inspection outcomes with production teams and collaborate with the Quality Manager on daily tasks.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist in achieving QA compliance and targets; develop and maintain quality procedures and controls.
  • Supplier & Product Assessment: Evaluate product specifications and customer requirements.
  • Training: Assist in training staff on quality standards and procedures.
  • Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, technical documents, and manuals to ensure product quality.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality control role in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced math and computer skills; ability to use specialized testing tools and machinery.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and move around the production floor for extended periods.

What We Offer:

  • Total Compensation Package: Salary range $17.00-$19.50 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits package including paid holidays, vacation, sick time, 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance, employee assistance program, health savings account, company-paid life insurance, and voluntary insurance benefits.
