Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fleet Mechanic to join our team at US Foods, Inc. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of diesel-powered vehicles, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units
  • Perform preventative maintenance according to company standards
  • Complete documentation of all repair orders and parts accountability
  • Handle road service calls and perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed

Requirements:

  • 3 years of commercial diesel mechanic or reefer experience
  • OR 2 years of diesel mechanic experience with TK or refrigeration certification
  • Ability to comply with EPA and OSHA regulations
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
