Our innovative cardiovascular program is expanding, and we are seeking a skilled Registered Technologist to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated Cardiovascular Technologist to prepare and manage advanced cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient care and a sterile environment. The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications, a background in radiologic technology, and a commitment to ongoing education and patient safety.
Responsibilities- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, preparing and positioning patients for care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment, adhering to strict guidelines.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by Charge persons or managers.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
- Finish all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months.
- Educational Requirements: Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology, eligible for and/or currently registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), and/or RCIS certified.
- Experience: Previous Procedural Area experience is preferred.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: ARRT-registered and/or RCIS certified, with Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred.
The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $57,000 to $94,000, based on previous work experience.
