Job Summary

This Respiratory Care Specialist role is responsible for evaluating patients' respiratory needs and providing individualized care to ensure optimal outcomes. This position involves assessing patient conditions, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapies in accordance with physician orders and department policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patient respiratory function and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Administer prescribed respiratory therapeutic services and monitor patient responses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, including medications and equipment use
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent experience and education
  • A valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • BLS HCP certification from the American Heart Association
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits

SSM Health offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $90,000 annually, based on location and experience. Our benefits package includes:
