Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team at Webber Infrastructure Management U.S., Inc. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in business development, strategic planning, and leadership.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to maximize profitability and growth of the region and business. This includes working with Regional and Project Managers to accomplish projects' objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and result measurements.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years' experience with managing multiple contracts at once, as well as 3 years' experience in industry management. A Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to maximize profitability and growth of the region and business.
  • Work with Regional and Project Managers to accomplish projects' objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and result measurements.
  • Allocate resources, review progress, and make mid-course corrections when necessary.
  • Provide overall strategic and operational direction to Regional and Project Managers within assigned area.
  • Work with Commercial Department on bids in assigned area to manage risks, promote operational efficiencies, and competitively bid.
  • Assist with the development of new leverage and business opportunities.
  • Identify and implement programs that reduce/contain costs, maximize revenue, manage cash flow, increase EBITDA, improve quality, and increase productivity.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing strategic business plans.
  • Comply with company risk management, quality assurance, and health, safety, and environment management systems, including statutory obligations.
  • Manage and support Regional and Project Managers, ensuring they meet performance targets, specification requirements, and client satisfaction against operations and financial targets.
  • Design and implement measures to improve performance.
  • Control and oversee the optimum utilization of all project personnel and equipment resources and maintain adherence to company policies for the purchase of equipment, material, and services.
  • Manage senior-level relationships with key customers/clients and related partnering efforts.
  • Develop contacts with potential strategic clients identifying and creating opportunities for business growth.
  • Understand the external environment, ensuring the company capability is promoted and positioned in compliance with company guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 5 years' experience with managing multiple contracts at once.
  • 3 years' experience in industry management.
  • Valid driver's license.

Travel Requirements

20% domestic travel to project sites.
