Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a Class A CDL truck and transporting goods across various locations.

About the Role:

  • Safely operate a Class A CDL truck and transport goods according to D.O.T. regulations
  • Inspect the truck before and after trips to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Check loads for safety and legality, and secure them according to D.O.T. standards
  • Drive defensively and follow all traffic laws
  • Maintain accurate driver logs and inspection reports
  • Assist receivers with loading and unloading cargo
  • Maintain a professional image at all times

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of driving experience with 100,000 miles or more
  • Clean driving record
  • Class A CDL with air brake endorsement
  • D.O.T. Physical certification
  • Ability to pass a D.O.T. Pre-employment drug test
  • Forklift certification

Work Environment:

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances. They will also be able to lift up to 100 pounds and climb onto trailers as needed.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
