Job Title: Accounting Technician

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain journals and general ledgers of financial transactions
  • Prepare calculations for billing for services provided by the county
  • Compile a variety of narrative and statistical reports
Requirements:
  • Three (3) years of full-time increasingly responsible technical advanced journey level experience in financial, accounting, or statistical record keeping activities
  • Formal education in basic accounting or bookkeeping may substitute for the experience requirement on a year-for-year basis
