Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse to join our team at MedPro Healthcare Staffing. As a PICU RN, you will provide critical care to children and adolescents with life-threatening or high-acuity conditions.

About the Job

  • Duration: 13 weeks, working 36 hours per week
  • Shift: 12-hour shifts, nights
  • Employment Type: Travel nursing assignment

Responsibilities

  • Care for critically ill pediatric patients in the ICU setting
  • Collaborate with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to determine the best course of patient care and recovery
  • Prioritize careful monitoring of patients and report regularly to the pediatrician and family on the patient's condition and what they can expect in recovery

Requirements

  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care NICU setting
  • Active RN License
  • PALS & NRP Certifications
  • Degree from accredited nursing program
