Job Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for the receipt and shipment of materials, as well as maintaining inventory levels and ensuring accurate labeling of materials. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials for damage or defects
  • Accurately label and store materials in designated areas
  • Coordinate with production staff to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to management
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a shipping, logistics, or materials handling role
  • Familiarity with forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
