Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing repair and maintenance work on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks, including chassis components, vehicle tank bodies, and control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and air brake systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a fleet of company vehicles, including cars, trucks, heavy equipment, and tractor/trailers.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance, including oil changes and tune-ups.
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure safe and proper operation.
  • Identify mechanical problems and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Plan and establish timetables for repairs and maintenance.
  • Inspect vehicles and perform maintenance tasks as required.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school education or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license and a CDL (preferably).
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.


We offer a competitive salary of $34.00-$60.00 per hour, based on experience.
