Traveling Medical Specialist for Cardiac Care

Epic Travel Staffing is currently seeking a skilled travel nurse to join our team as a Medical Specialist in Cardiac Care. This exciting opportunity will take you to Wilmington, North Carolina, where you will be working with top-notch medical professionals and contributing your expertise to the care of cardiac patients.
About the Role
As a travel nurse in this position, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your primary focus will be on providing expert care to patients with cardiac conditions, including arrhythmias, congestive heart failure, and post-cardiac catheterization. You will work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for your patients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess a strong background in nursing, with at least 2 years of experience in Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown environments. A valid NC License is also mandatory. Additionally, you should have proficiency in interpreting dysrhythmias and remote monitoring, as well as experience with pre/post cardiac catheterization, pre/post cardiac surgery, and sheath removal. Your skills should also include blood product administration, central line management, PICC line management, and cardiac drip titration. ACLS certification is a must, and NIH preferred but not required.

Compensation
This travel nursing position comes with an estimated salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience. With tax-free stipends available, you can maximize your earnings and enjoy a comfortable lifestyle during your travels.
