Recreation Assistant

As a Hattie Larlham Recreation Specialist / Assistant, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating recreational activities, including games, movies, crafts, music, and field trips, to promote socialization, fun, and engagement for individuals with disabilities.

• Full-Time or Part-Time, variable days, afternoons and evenings
• Location: Hattie Larlham Center for Children with Disabilities

We are seeking individuals with

• High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in recreation therapy, education, or related field preferred.
• Prior experience working with people with developmental disabilities or special needs is preferred.
• Ohio Driver's License and ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen in order to drive a Hattie Larlham vehicle.
• Ability to become certified in First Aid, CPR, and as a Shallow Water Lifeguard - free training is provided
