In-House Counsel

We are seeking an experienced In-House Counsel to join our team at Community Care Physicians. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the negotiation of contracts, ensuring they meet business and legal objectives;
• Provide legal advice on corporate governance and administration;
• Review and draft proposed contracts, as well as prepare and review corporate documents;
• Support risk management activities by anticipating and guarding against legal risks to Community Care Physicians;
• Maintain awareness of pertinent legislative and regulatory developments;
• Educate staff on various practice activities and issues;
• Oversee outside counsel and assist in handling complex legal matters, business transactions, or other projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school;
• Five years of experience in health law, either in private practice or as in-house counsel;
• Admission to practice law in New York within 180 days of hire.
