IT Vendor Management Role

MAM Gruppe is seeking a skilled Global IT Vendor Manager to oversee the management and integration of outsourced functions, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations while upholding high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute IT procurement strategies aligned with the agency's objectives, emphasizing cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Foster strong partnerships with IT vendors, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and facilitating open communication for feedback and improvement.
  • Monitor and enforce service level agreements (SLAs), taking necessary actions to address any service deficiencies.
  • Ensure accuracy of billing for contracted services, including evaluating service credits and other pricing mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure outsourced activities comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Negotiate new contracts with outsourcing partners, defining scope, performance metrics, timelines, and financial terms.
  • Identify and select outsourcing partners based on their capabilities, track record, and alignment with company standards.
  • Conduct risk management activities related to outsourcing, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans for critical functions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, IT, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience (10+ years) in managing external outsourcing partnerships, particularly with top-tier offshore providers offering global technology services.
  • Proficiency in vendor management, with experience working closely with leading offshore IT providers.
  • Extensive background (10+ years) in global IT environments.
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders across diverse cultures.
  • Strong skills in risk management, including the development of contingency plans to ensure operational continuity.
  • Excellent negotiation, management, influencing, and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication skills across all organisational levels.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organisational capabilities.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, certification preferred. Experience in complex contract and billing management.
  • Cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Business Language English
