Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute production strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Optimize production processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards to exceed customer expectations.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing production team.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve operational performance.
  • Ensure adherence to all food safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement innovative solutions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in food science, engineering, business, or related field.
  • Experience in Union environment.
  • Oversight of team of 300-400 associates, including multiple supervisors.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management within the RTE sliced meat industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality control regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
