This role is a great opportunity for a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join Cottage Health's team at the Cottage Children's Medical Center.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist will practice in the Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), providing specialized nursing care for critically ill newborns ranging in age from 0-28 days.

Collaboration with Clinical Nurse Specialists from other departments, such as PICU, Pediatrics, Neurosciences, Adult Critical Care, and Emergency, will also be a key aspect of this role.

To be successful in this position, you will need a Master's degree in nursing (MSN), a RN license in the State of California, and a minimum of three years of NICU nursing experience.

Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) certification by the California Board of Registered Nursing and National Certification in area of clinical specialty (NICU) are also required.

BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) and NRP certification (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics) are also necessary.
