Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our team at Tandym Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a proven track record of handling complex legal matters.

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations with confidence and expertise.
• Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission with efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and development, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel, building strong relationships and trust.
• Prepare and present oral arguments in court, presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in settlement conferences, achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation, ensuring easy access to critical information.
• Stay current with developments in litigation and relevant laws and regulations, applying knowledge to inform case strategy and decision-making.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the NJ bar and in good standing.
• Minimum of two years of experience in litigation, preferably in commercial and employment litigation.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and partners to achieve shared goals.
