About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Amusement Manager to join our team at Round1. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall success of our arcades and cranes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and control staff and equipment to achieve sales goals and maintain ideal playing conditions.
  • Assist customers with game operation and rules, and respond to customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Plan and prepare work schedules and assignments for employees, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Monitor store inventory levels and ensure timely restocking of products.
  • Supervise department employees to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all reports, such as purchase and inventory on sales, are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Perform General Manager duties in the absence of the General Manager.
  • Monitor store staffing levels and ensure adequate staffing during busy periods.
  • Assist in the recruitment and hiring of qualified applicants to meet store needs.
  • Complete reviews, absence reports, and supervise staff with time and attendance.
Requirements
  • Associates degree and 2-3 years retail management experience, preferably in the entertainment, retail, or hospitality industries.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with high integrity and respect for everyone.
  • Solid communication skills, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and appreciation for diversity.
Work Environment

The Amusement Manager will work in a fast-paced bowling center/arcade environment with high levels of noise, dust, and activity. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands

The Amusement Manager will be required to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces. The employee will need to stand and walk for extensive periods of time without breaks during busy times. Lifting and/or moving up to 100lbs with assistance is required.

  • Be at least 18 years old and hold a High school diploma or GED
  • Be available and willing to travel out of town or even out of state for a period of 4 to 6 weeks to participate in training
