About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Youth Care Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team at Child & Family Healing Center.

Job Description

This role involves providing supervision, daily therapeutic care, programming, and crisis intervention for residents in our intensive residential treatment program.

Responsibilities
  • Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team using Collaborative Problem-Solving techniques to help clients with challenging behaviors and build helping relationships.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
  • Provide daily therapeutic activities, education, and life skills training to promote resident growth and development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Human Services related field and six months of experience working with youth with behavioral and emotional issues or Autism Spectrum Disorder required. Minimum of 2 years' related experience may substitute for degree.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including youth, families, and community partners.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience, plus comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement savings plan.
