We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at Geisinger in State College, Pennsylvania.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified CRNA to provide anesthesia care in the operating room, supporting surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an anesthesiologist. Key Responsibilities:- Anesthesia Provision: Deliver high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various medical procedures, including surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic interventions.
- Medication Management: Select and administer medications for anesthesia and emergency treatment, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.
- Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and adjust medications as needed to maintain a stable and safe environment.
- Anesthesia Variability Management: Recognize and respond to variations in anesthesia requirements, adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
- Master's Degree in Nursing (Required): Possess a Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Certification and Licensure: Hold current certification as a CRNA and be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
