Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Trinity Health Of New England. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI examinations, providing exceptional patient care, and contributing to the efficient operation of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examination Preparation
    • Prepare patients for MRI examinations, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
    • Position patients correctly and ensure accurate alignment for optimal image quality.
  • Examination Execution
    • Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images, following established protocols and guidelines.
    • Monitor patients during examinations, adjusting positions and equipment as needed to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Image Analysis and Reporting
    • Analyze MRI images to ensure they meet quality standards, identifying any areas for improvement.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate records of patient examinations, including image quality and any issues encountered.
  • Patient Care and Communication
    • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed throughout the examination process.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Education
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in MRI.
    • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Licensure
    • Registered American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, with MRI certification.
    • Current Connecticut License.
