Program Director for Global Children's Rights

The Program Director for Global Children's Rights will lead the organization's efforts to promote the realization of children's rights and well-being globally. This role requires a strong understanding of international children's rights and the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to advance these rights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to advance children's rights globally
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, including advocates, funders, grantees, and donors
  • Oversee the deployment of grant funds and ensure adherence to internal grantmaking processes
  • Lead and collaborate with a team of four staff members to achieve program goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in international children's rights, with at least 5 years in a leadership position
  • Experience working globally, particularly in Africa and Latin America, as well as in the US
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Cultural competence, respect, open-mindedness, and strong listening skills

Benefits:

  • Annual salary of $210,000-$250,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience
  • Generous benefits package, including payment of 100% of health insurance premiums for employees and 80% for spouses, domestic partners, and qualified family members
