Genesis10 is seeking an experienced Electrical System Specialist for a 12-month contract position with potential for extension or conversion. Compensation: $41.25 per hour. The main function of this role is to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, and bend wired and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.
  • Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies organized.
  • Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of various electrical systems and equipment.
  • Disassemble defective equipment, replace parts, and reassemble using hand tools.
  • Examine units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections using hand tools.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical degree or certification preferred.
  • 8-10 years experience required.
  • Electrical License.
  • Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Brief understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of technical plans.
