Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the aerospace industry, is seeking a skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed processes and procedures for production, as well as securing outside quotations for raw materials and services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering, including tooling and fixture design, and experience with conventional lathe, mill, and CNC machining. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills and be proficient in CAD and Microsoft Office.

The role offers a competitive salary of $90,000-$125,000, depending on experience, as well as an annual bonus, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional development and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed processes and procedures for production
  • Secure outside quotations for raw materials and services
  • Consult with shop supervision on problems related to methods, tooling, and handling
  • Provide technical support for design and manufacture of jigs, fixtures, and special tools
  • Develop testing requirements and procedures to ensure compliance with customer and design specifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of four years' experience in manufacturing engineering, including tooling and fixture design
  • Three or more years' experience with conventional lathe, mill, and CNC machining
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Office
