About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Team Lead to join our retail operations team in California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and leading a team of associates to achieve sales and profit goals.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will lead by example, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration and teamwork among associates.

You will be responsible for:

  • Sales Performance: Drive sales growth and meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and develop a team of customer service representatives, providing coaching, guidance, and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Cash Handling: Manage cash handling procedures, including counting tills, balancing registers, and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, monitoring stock movements and reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing product information and recommendations.

You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with current promotions, products, and services, as well as maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, associates, and management.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience, preferably in a retail or customer-facing environment.
  • Retail Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of retail operations, including sales processes, customer service principles, and inventory management.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think critically and resolve complex problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Time Management: Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
