Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a MedSurg Float Pool nurse. You will be responsible for performing patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

About the Role
  • You will conduct thorough patient assessments, including identifying and prioritizing the patient's needs, and develop tailored care plans to meet their goals.
  • You will administer medications and treatments according to hospital policy, and delegate tasks appropriately to non-licensed staff.
  • You will provide education to patients and families on their care and treatment, and facilitate discharge planning in collaboration with the care team.
  • You will demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • You must have at least 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • You must possess a current Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • You must hold a valid Registered Nurse license, and obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 60 months of employment start date.
