We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Arkansas Tech University. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions, serving meals or preparing for delivery, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Salary: $15.00 per hour to $16.50 per hour, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have previous cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen, with the ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor during peak service times. They will also be responsible for following established health and safety procedures, maintaining accurate records, and reporting any maintenance issues or accidents to the supervisor immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery, using correct portioning and meeting outlined standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to established health and safety procedures
• Follow established ticket collection procedures during service periods
• Report needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately
