The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in workers compensation paralegalship.

This is an in-office position, Monday through Friday. The salary for this role is estimated to be around $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on industry standards and Richmond, VA cost of living.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled professionals who can draft and prepare pleadings for filing, attend telephone conferences, and prepare synopsis memoranda.

Maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes, drafting broker transition documents, organizing exhibits, documents, briefs, and appendices are also essential tasks.

The successful candidate will aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests, gather relevant information from various sources, redact information from documents, and assist in trial preparation by preparing binders, indexing discovery, and preparing trial exhibits.

Additionally, the worker's compensation case manager will prepare witness preparation binders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have proven working experience as a workers compensation paralegal, applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, etc.

A highly organized individual with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment is required.

Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail are necessary for this position.
