Welder Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS). This role involves the layout, fit, and fabrication of metal components to assemble structural forms, such as frames for assembly, welding vessels, and piping systems.

• Layout and Fabrication: Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics, and perform free-hand MIG and TIG welding.
• Metalwork: Perform sanitary welding and fitting of parts, and operate other metal fabrication tools including Iron Worker, Lathe/Mill, Band Saw, and T-drill.
• Assembly and Machining: Assist in developing and building jigs and fixtures, and perform complex assembly of machines.

• Experience: Must have experience with MIG and TIG welding and ability to complete successful free-hand welds.
• Skills: Ability to weld stainless and carbon steel alloys, basic mathematics skills, and knowledge of metallurgy and engineering requirements.
• Certification: Must be able to submit a 6G weld coupon to be certified by an independent testing facility.

This is a full-time position working Monday – Friday, 6am - 2pm. We offer competitive pay, including an estimated $65,000 per year salary based on industry standards, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
