About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Vocational Rehabilitation Employment Specialist. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to achieve their vocational goals and live independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and guidance to individuals with disabilities in various community-based work settings.
  • Assist individuals in developing natural supports and promoting independence in work tasks and environments.
  • Implement services and supports to address vocational goals and desired outcomes, as identified in individual plans.
  • Collaborate with Vocational Program Managers to ensure effective supervision and direction.
  • Attend job sites with individuals, providing training and support to help them stabilize in their roles.

Requirements:

  • High School degree or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and automotive insurance.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screens.
  • CPR, first aid, NCI, and/or role-specific certification is a plus.
