Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Wellpath. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care on the unit during a shift. As a charge nurse, you will manage all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment, and promote collaboration with the healthcare team. Your primary goal is to ensure positive patient care outcomes are achieved.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement and evaluate nursing interventions to achieve desired outcomes
  • Manage patient care duties and delegate tasks to staff as needed
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and maintain confidentiality of patient information
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Participate in orientation and continuing education of peers and other healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
  • BSN qualification and nursing specialty certification preferred
  • One to three years' experience in acute and/or psychiatric/forensic settings preferred
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, or eligibility for same through reciprocity with other states
