RN - Infection Prevention Specialist

The Infection Prevention Specialist is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for preventing and controlling the spread of infections in our facilities. As a registered nurse with a strong background in infection prevention, you will work closely with our clinical teams to develop and implement effective infection prevention strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement infection prevention policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with clinical teams to develop and implement evidence-based infection prevention practices
- Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention and control
- Monitor and report on infection rates and trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field
- Current RN licensure
- 1 year of experience in infection prevention or a related field
- National Certification in Infection Control (CIC)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing or related field
- 4 years of experience in infection prevention or a related field
- 2 years of experience in epidemiology or a related field
