Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Rush Enterprises. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while maintaining a high level of technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment
  • Read job orders, observe, and listen to vehicles in operation to determine malfunctions and plan work procedures
  • Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks and make adjustments as needed
  • Tag all warranty parts and returns to the warranty clerk
  • Attend training classes and stay up-to-date with factory technical bulletins
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1 year of fleet, dealership, and/or technical school experience
