Occupational Therapist

Prudential Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide compassionate care to senior adults and those in need in the local area.

• Assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status of patients and develop a total plan of care.
• Provide physical therapy services to patients according to a written physician's plan of care.
• Direct physical therapy treatment and initiate physical therapy programs.
• Train patients in the use of prosthetic devices and provide physical therapy consultation to home families/caregivers.
• Provide in-service education programs for nursing organization personnel as needed.

• Possesses a degree from a baccalaureate or Masters program in physical therapy approved by an accredited organization.
• Licensed to practice as a physical therapist within the state, if applicable.
• Two years of appropriate experience as a physical therapist, with community/home health experience preferred.
• Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization skills.
• Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Up to 50% travel may be required.
