Part-time Dental Assistant Opportunity

Cherry Tree Dental is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the daily operations of our clinic by providing excellent care and communication to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, sterilize, disinfect, and maintain dental equipment, instruments, and supplies.
  • Collect and record patient health histories and x-rays.
  • Ensure patient comfort during dental procedures.
  • Complete charting of treatment information in the patients' dental notes from the doctor as directed.
  • Assist doctor in management of medical and dental emergencies.
  • Deliver postoperative and general oral care instructions to patients.
  • Maintain infection control procedures, patient privacy, and professional interactions with patients and staff.
  • Assist administrative team with customer service functions.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program or dental assistant experience required.
  • Previous customer service or office experience preferred.
  • Proficiency or the ability to become proficient within 90 days in dental terminology and dental software for charting, treatment planning, clinical notes, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Foster a positive attitude and be a team player.
Work Schedule:

Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
