As a Master Fabricator and Welder, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to fabrication and welding, including reading and interpreting blueprints, conducting layout work, and operating cutting saws, shears, press brakes, and other fabrication machinery.

Core Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Experience in reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, sketches, and other technical instructions.
  • Experience with troubleshooting equipment problems and design conflicts.
  • Experience in welding techniques including SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, Oxy-Acetylene.
  • Experience with plasma cutting and Oxy-Acetylene cutting.
  • Experience in various methods of cleaning and preparing materials.
  • Experience in fixturing materials and fabrication of fixtures.
  • Experience using press brakes, nibblers, notchers.
  • Experience using saws, shears, grinders, sanders.
  • Experience using drill motors, drill presses.
  • Ability to read and write English technical instructions.
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to drive a forklift.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment.

Licenses and Certifications
You will need to possess an AWS or equivalent certification and a valid California driver's license.

Physical Requirements
The successful candidate will be required to perform average lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally over 70 pounds; the agility, equilibrium, and coordination as required when climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing under precarious conditions; arm, hand, and finger dexterity with at least one hand involved in reaching, handling, fingering and feeling; good eyesight and color perception.
