Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the Keene Day Care Center. As an Associate Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the Lead Teacher in developing a cohesive teaching team and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom.

Responsibilities:

Build nurturing, loving relationships with children
Ensure all Center policies, health and safety regulations, and emergency procedures, as well as state regulations, are met
Support the Lead Teacher in implementing educational curriculum
Temporarily assume extra responsibilities in the absence of the Lead Teacher
Be present and attentive and actively engaged at all times
Cultivate an open, friendly, professional relationship with families
Contribute to teaching team success

Requirements:

18 years old
High School diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 9 credits in Early Childhood Education or related field
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification within first 30 days of hire
Must clear full background check and must pass health screening

Nice to Have:

Associates degree in Early Childhood Education
Previous experience working in an early childhood program
Any of the following: experience with Pyramid Model, experience with Conscious Discipline, experience with Environment Rating Scales, knowledge of Strengthening Families Protective Factors, familiarity with NH Granite Steps for Quality
