Job Summary

This contract position is a great opportunity to join our team as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant and work directly with students in Pre-K to High School settings. You will be responsible for assisting speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans and supporting students with diverse communication needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assist speech-language pathologists in developing and implementing treatment plans for students with communication disorders
  • Support students in small group or one-on-one settings, promoting effective communication and language skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas related to speech-language pathology

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant credential/license or in-process in the state of practice
  • 1 year of verifiable experience as a School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced school setting and collaborate with diverse stakeholders

Location and Schedule

This contract position is based in Ventura, CA, and requires a Full-Time schedule with 35 hours per week. You will have the opportunity to work closely with an exceptional school district and contribute to the growth and development of students with diverse needs.
