We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Radiology to join our team at Larry White Associates. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily operations of the Radiology support staff and imaging modalities, maintaining staffing, workflow, and performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the Radiology support staff, including front office and tech assistants, to ensure efficient and effective daily operations.
- Participate in interviewing and training new employees, and participate in disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate Imaging Services daily to ensure high-quality patient care and optimal department performance.
- Delegate responsibilities based on staff members' abilities, organizational needs, and priorities.
- Be a key player in the development of employees, encouraging professional growth and identifying abilities and interests.
- Evaluate employee performance thoroughly and objectively, and help employees reach their potential.
- In the absence of the Imaging Services Director, the Assistant Director is responsible for standards, staff, leadership, and decision-making.
Requirements:
- Associate of Science Degree required, Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
- Minimum five years of supervisory experience preferred.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification required.
- California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification required.
- California Fluoroscopy Permit required.
- BLS certification required.
