Project Lead - High-End Residential and Commercial Projects

This leadership position is an essential part of our design team. We seek a highly experienced project lead (CA-licensed) to join our dynamic and growing team in the Bay Area. This role requires a talented individual who is passionate about design and has rich experience with high-end residential and commercial projects. The successful candidate will influence and further develop the firm's design philosophy, while taking the lead.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of designers to complete technical documents.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and complete construction documents and packages.
  • Manage day-to-day construction administration activities, including coordination with the contractor, owner, and consultants to maintain project progress.
  • Mentor, provide oversight, and monitor the work performed by junior staff.
  • Establish and execute project work plans and staffing requirements.
  • Meet with owners and user groups to determine program and planning requirements.
  • Collaborate with various teams to establish goals, schedules, and budgets.
Requirements:
  • Registered Architect (Licensed in California).
  • 10+ years of experience in managing, designing, and detailing high-end single-family, multi-family, and commercial projects.
  • Familiarity with San Francisco and Berkeley planning and building codes.
  • Technical knowledge of the above-mentioned types of projects.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit and Rhino preferred.
  • Experience with AutoCAD acceptable.

We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
