Food Manufacturing Team Lead with Production Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Manufacturing Team Lead to oversee production activities in our food manufacturing facility. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to utilize their expertise and leadership skills to drive productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and train production staff to ensure high performance and morale.
- Delegate tasks effectively to distribute workload efficiently.
- Provide guidance and support to resolve team issues and conflicts.
- Production Oversight:
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with established procedures and quality standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize production flow.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Resource Management:
- Assist in scheduling production activities and allocate resources efficiently.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in production efficiency and cost reduction.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular inspections of products and processes to ensure quality specifications.
- Address any deviations from quality standards promptly.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to implement quality management systems.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of production activities.
- Prepare reports on production performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Communicate production status and issues to management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Manufacturing Management, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or a similar industry with at least 1 year in a supervisory role preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient use of computer and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Bilingual a plus.
Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
